George Clooney Golden Globes

After Sunday nights Golden Globes Award Ceremony, George Clooney who won the Best Actors award was asked backstage about his feelings on Romney’s stance on gay marriage. I’m sure most of you won’t be too surprised by Cloony’s response as he has been a vocal supporter of gay marriage for some time now. This wasn’t the only topic Clooney had something to say about either. During his acceptance speech Clooney took a stab at fellow nominee Michael Fassbender stating, “I’d like to thank Michael Fassbender for taking over the frontal-nudity responsibility that I had. If you can play golf like this, with your hands behind your back—go for it man, do it!”
Clooney replied,“Well I’m not much concerned until there is an actual nominee… but I think it’s the wrong side of history.” He also added,“I think everyone sort of understands it might be the last leg of the civil rights movement.”
